WordPress Involvement

After attending WordCamp Ann Arbor in 2015 and volunteering at WordCamp Northeast Ohio in 2016, I decided to get involved in the WordPress community in any way I could. I’ve since been involved in organizing our local WordPress Meetup group and have been on our local WordCamp organizing team since 2017.

In 2021, I officially joined the WordPress Community Team as a Community Deputy. In 2022, I had the pleasure of serving as one of the Community Team Reps for a portion of the year and was announced as one of the members of the first-ever WordPress Incident Response Team.

Throughout my career, I’ve also participated in a number of conferences and contributed to a variety of podcasts, webinars, and vlogs.

Cleveland GiveCamp

I have also been involved as a volunteer for Cleveland GiveCamp. The Mission of Cleveland GiveCamp is to pair creative and technology talent with nonprofits in need.

GiveCamp is a weekend-long event where software developers, designers, database administrators, project managers and creative professionals donate their time to create software and web-based applications for non-profit organizations.

I am proud to have contributed to the following non-profits:

I also continued to work with The Cutting Board Academy to provide updates and maintenance on the site post-launch.
