Something I’ve found really helpful within Sourcetree is the “Jump to Commit/Branch” feature. You can find it on the top right, above the short commit numbers when you have a branch selected in the left pane.
You can enter either a full commit number, a short commit number, or select a branch.
The “Jump to” feature can be really helpful if you’re reviewing old code and someone gave you a commit number to reference.
